Stefanie Tornow - Vocals
Three years violin lessons and piano lessons for eight years during her school days brought Stefanie a solid musical foundation. Since her early days she listened to Jazz and was impressed and inspired by singers such as Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald and Lorez Alexandria.
Between 2005 and 2009 Stefanie attended the Jazz Project at the Freie Musikschulzentrum in Munich under the leadership of Geoff Goodman. She has also appeared at the "New Talents on Stage" in the Jazzclub Unterfahrt in Munich, and completed successfully in May 2009 the Vocal Master Classes and competition of the new Jazz School Munich eV with the famous vocalist Sandy Patton. The audience stated they were charmed by the graceful musical intensity of her voice.
She is currently taking private voice lessons with Reinette van Zijtveld-Lustig specialising in Jazz singing, but also voice training lessons with Beéla Müller. Her music currently ranges from swing and latin to blues and soul.
